v1.1 · updated 7 november 2026
1. What we use
The Ticketway website uses only the cookies and browser storage it needs to work. We use no advertising, analytics, social media or tracking cookies. The only third parties are Apple and Google, and only if you choose to sign in with them (see the last row).
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tw_guest | Cookie; secure; not readable by page scripts | Keeps you signed in to your guest account | 30 days, or until you sign out |
tw_hq | Cookie; secure; not readable by page scripts | Keeps you signed in to Ticketway HQ on the web | 30 days, or until you sign out |
tw_hq_account | Cookie | Remembers which of your organisations you last opened in Ticketway HQ | 1 year |
| Device key | Browser storage (IndexedDB) | A key created by your browser that cannot be read or copied out, used to show your tickets' codes as the app does on a phone. Your tickets are held on this browser while it is your most recent sign-in | Until you clear your browser data or sign in on another device |
| Sign in with Apple or Google | Their scripts, loaded only on the sign-in page | Lets you sign in with that account. Apple or Google may set their own cookies under their own policies | As they set |
2. Why they are essential
Without these items you could not sign in, see your tickets or use Ticketway HQ. They contain no information about your activity on other websites. The session cookies contain only a random token, of which we store only a one-way hash.
3. Your choices
You may delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you do, you will be signed out. When you next sign in, your browser creates a new device key and your tickets move to it.
4. Changes
Before using any cookie or similar technology that is not essential, such as analytics, we will update this notice and obtain your consent first. Refusing will be as easy as accepting, nothing will be pre-selected, and refusing will not stop the website working.
